Paarl Moutain Nature Reserve

The Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve is a 2000 hectare piece of paradise in the Boland town of Paarl.

The Reserve is next to the Taal Monument and is ideal for hikers, mountain bikers, fishing in the dams and enjoying amazing panoramic views of the Cape Winelands. Visitors can also enjoy the different types of Proteas, the amazing 50 million year old granite Paarl Rock, a visit to the Wild Flower Garden, climb Bretagne Rock and great views of Table Mountain.

The Reserve is open 7 days a week between 07:00 - 19:00 in summer and 07:00 - 18:00. Entrance to the Reserve is free except weekends and public holidays.
