Bredasdorp is small farming town in the Overberg about 20 kms from the seaside towns of Arniston, Struisbaai, Agulhas and the southern Cape coast. It's a nice little town dominated by a beautifully imposing church. It is also home to the only Shipwreck museum in South Africa, documenting the tragedies of the past along the treacherous waters around the coast which inevitably impacted the residents of Bredasdorp. It's a good town to fill up on all the necessities you'll need at the Super Spar and other shops in town for your stay on the beautiful southern Cape coast.
