Agulhas is where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans officially meet and is the southern most tip of Africa. Many believe it is at Cape Point but Agulhas is the actual place. Agulhas has an impressive lighthouse, built in 1848, with a walk up the lighthouse stairs allowing you an expansive view of the surrounding ocean and horizon. There is also a the only lighthouse museum in South Africa with a very interesting gallery of photos detailing some of the remotest lighthouses around the world, including the one at Agulhas.
