Famed Route 62 is comprised of numerous towns in a mountainous and beautiful region that stretches from between Du Toits Kloof Pass all the way to the town of Oudtshoorn towards Knysna and the Garden Route. Along the way, stop off in Robertson or Montagu and enjoy the local charm.
Route 62, which lies in the Breede River Valley, is often chosen as the alternative route to the N2 not only because it is shorter but offers travellers farm stalls or 'pad staals', wine estates, hiking trails, streams and rivers, beautiful fauna and flora and interesting rock formations along the way.
