'Moederkerk' means 'motherchurch' in Afrikaans. This beautiful church and its gardens are at the 'top' end of the town of Stellenbosch and can be reached from Dorp Street. The pristine kerk is snow white with intricate stained glass windows and is open for visits to the general public.
