Cape Town is notorious for the four beaches in Clifton. The drive to Clifton from the city of Cape Town takes you past Bantry Bay before Clifton and on to Camps Bay with spectacular views. 4th Beach is possibly the most popular among visitors since the beach is in a bay sheltered from the strong summer south easterly winds. The only access road to the Clifton Beaches is Victoria road where it can be difficult to find parking if you don't get there early.
Take a parasol, your sunglasses, water, plenty of sun block and enjoy the day at Clifton while people watching.
