Chapman's Peak drive is probably one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world. Started in 1915, the road was opened in 1922 and owes its inception to Sir Frederic de Waal. Meandering along the South Atlantic coastline between Hout Bay and Noordhoek and around Chapman's Peak, the road offers amazing views of the surrounding coastline and vast expanse of ocean.
There is a small fee to access Chapman's Peak drive but it is well worth it.
